Terms and Conditions

Preamble These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter "GTC") apply to all orders placed on the website www.serenio.ch (hereinafter "the Site"). The Site is operated by Marvin Renollet, whose registered office is located at 146 Chemin des Marais, 1255 Veyrier, Switzerland.

The customer declares to have read and accepted these GTC before placing an order. Validation of the order therefore constitutes acceptance of these GTC.

Article 1: Products

The products governed by these GTC are those listed on the Site (hereinafter "the Products"). They include clothing and accessories made of silk.

Each Product is presented with a description highlighting its essential characteristics (material, dimensions, care instructions, etc.). Photographs are as accurate as possible but cannot guarantee a perfect similarity with the Product, particularly regarding colors.

Article 2: Prices

The prices of the Products are indicated in Swiss francs (CHF). They are inclusive of all taxes (Swiss VAT at the applicable rate) but exclude delivery charges.

Serenio reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but the Product will be invoiced on the basis of the rate in effect at the time the order is validated.

Delivery charges are calculated according to the weight of the package and the destination. They are indicated to the customer before final validation of the order.

Article 3: Order

To place an order, the customer must follow these steps:

  1. Select the Products and add them to the cart.

  2. Validate the cart.

  3. Log in or create a customer account.

  4. Choose the delivery method.

  5. Choose the payment method.

  6. Accept these GTC by checking the corresponding box.

  7. Validate the order by clicking on the "Order and Pay" button (or any other unambiguous wording indicating a payment obligation).

A confirmation email summarizing the order will be sent to the customer. The sale will only be considered final after this confirmation has been sent.

Article 4: Payment Terms

Payment is due immediately upon order. The customer may pay by:

  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)

  • Twint

  • PostFinance Card / E-Finance

Payments are secured by our payment provider [Name of the provider, e.g., Shopify Payments, Stripe], which uses the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol so that the information transmitted is encrypted and no third party can gain access to it during transmission over the network.

Article 5: Delivery

Deliveries are made to the address indicated by the customer when placing the order. Deliveries are limited to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. [To be adapted if you deliver internationally].

Delivery times are indicated for reference on the Site. Serenio undertakes to make its best efforts to deliver the ordered Products within the indicated timeframe.

The risks related to transport are transferred to the customer at the moment when the latter, or a third party designated by him/her, physically takes possession of the Products. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the condition of the packaging and the conformity of the delivered Products and to make any reservations with the carrier.

Article 6: Right of Return (or Right of Withdrawal)

The customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the Products to exercise the right of return, without having to justify reasons or pay a penalty, except for the return costs which remain at the customer’s expense.

To exercise this right, the customer must inform Serenio of his/her decision by means of an unambiguous statement (for example, by email to contact@serenio.ch).

The Products must be returned in their original condition and complete (packaging, labels, accessories), unworn, unwashed, and undamaged. Products returned incomplete, damaged, or soiled by the customer will not be accepted.

After verifying the returned items, Serenio will reimburse the amounts paid, including the initial delivery costs, within 14 days following receipt of the returned Products.

Article 7: Legal Warranty

The customer benefits from the legal warranty against defects of the sold item, in accordance with articles 197 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO). The warranty period is two years from the delivery of the Product.

In case of defect, the customer must notify the seller without delay. The customer may request repair, replacement of the Product, or, if this is not possible, cancellation of the sale or a price reduction.

Excluded from the warranty are defects resulting from misuse, poor maintenance (in particular failure to comply with care instructions for silk), normal wear and tear, or accidents.

Article 8: Liability

In the online sales process, Serenio is only bound by an obligation of means. Its liability cannot be engaged for any damage resulting from the use of the Internet network, such as data loss, intrusion, virus, service interruption, or other involuntary problems.

Article 9: Personal Data Protection

Serenio undertakes to protect the personal data of its customers. All personal data collected are treated with the strictest confidentiality, in accordance with our privacy policy and the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (FADP).

Article 10: Intellectual Property

All elements of the Site, whether visual or audio, including the underlying technology, are protected by copyright, trademarks, or patents. They are the exclusive property of Marvin Renollet.

Article 11: Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These GTC are governed by Swiss law.

In case of dispute, the place of jurisdiction is, at the consumer’s choice, either at his/her domicile or at the registered office of Marvin Renollet in Veyrier.

Article 12: Modification of the GTC

Serenio reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time. The applicable conditions are those in force on the date of the customer’s order.
